2015 ended in a whirl wind! In December I delivered a 60 hour training video course to a local medical training center, while still finding time to produce a music video for a local band, and continuing my conservation work with the IUCN / UN and frogleaps.org. I never expected so much could be accomplished in the second half of the year! With the new relationships formed and the continued relationship with valuable clients, I feel very good about 2015.
After a busy and incredible 2015, I decided to take some "time off", pack my bags and set off on a 3 week adventure through Greece with a good friend. However, this was not all fun and relaxation - it was a working vacation. I'll tell you more later.
As I settle back in to life at home, unpack my bags and catch up on emails. I feel hopeful for 2016 and thankful for everyones support.
Happy belated New Years! I am back, and can not wait to share some incredible photos with you.
I may even be quietly building a new website to showcase some of work I did in 2015 - static and interactive.
I will admit that after Iceland I took a small hiatus from film and photography to figure out what is next and how to take McNamee Productions to the next level. As 2015 gets underway, I am happy to say I am back doing what I love and have a good idea where I want to take this adventure. My 5 year plan has been set.
So far, this year has been packed full with fun shoots, camera tests, and networking. I will post projects and project announcements to the Blog as they are released.
Exciting things are in the works for 2015 and I can't wait to share them.
A Camera is the most powerful tool one can hold. Are you a photographer? Why do you shoot?
Wow, if you are still curious about Iceland or this adventure check back soon! I have some vlogs (video blogs) to post, a fun river crossing video, some odd stories, and some interesting facts I learned. I am also finalizing a few photos to post here. Also we are still working on some San Juan Islands content.
If you really want to learn about Iceland, I would recommend catching the next flight and experiencing it for yourself… All I ask is that you bring me with you.
If you have any site or trip comments or questions, please feel free to leave them here! I still have a few photos, videos and blog posts queued up, so check back for updates and a couple untold stories. Thank you!
After about a week of editing, reviewing and editing a little more, I think we are done! A huge thank you to Sean, Kate, Kelly for their tireless editing and proof reading. And Alyson for answering the weird HTML questions. I couldn't have done it without you guys!
We are so close! There are a few minor issues to be sorted out in the back end of the site. The new domain name is live and the Iceland section is complete! Thanks for your support!
This past month has been extremely eventful. I began my travels with a week-long cruise, touring and photographing the San Juan Islands. Followed with a two week backpacking trip through Iceland. Needless to say, it has been an incredible journey that I will never forget.
I have already been asked where to next. I guess the initial shock that I survived Iceland is finally wearing off of some of my friends and colleagues. I know that my Iceland adventure is far from over and I have to return. But is that the next destination on my list? Do I double down so quick or explore somewhere different?
It has crossed my mind to try the dart and map method again. It led me to Iceland, I wonder where it would lead to next. Or do I just start working on my top 9 list? (Ironically Iceland was in the top 10)
At least for a while I need to focus on the work I have at home. First I need to Unpack, decompress and play catch up.
Who is ready to see and read all things Iceland? After almost an entire week of late nights and early mornings I am extremely excited to share everything with you. Just a few more coding issues to iron out, picking the best of the best photos to share with you, and polishing up the trip report. Its lengthy and full of fun information. Is the suspense killing you?
