ABOUT ME

I am an award-winning photographer with a natural understanding of data analytics, unstoppable drive, and an eye focused on detail. Professionally, I am a digital project manager with a decade of experience gained from fast-paced startup environments, where I consistently find quality solutions to challenging problems.

I have spent over five years working in the travel industry, creating story-driven, experience-based marketing collateral, three years working in the medical industry creating educational content, and two years in the non-profit sector providing a voice for community activists. I’ve been professionally shooting photography and commercial videos since 2009.

From coding to photography, I am primarily self-taught, but would be remiss if I didn’t say I am grateful for the guidance, advice, and mentorship I received from a couple phenomenal and internationally renowned photographers, especially during the first few years of my career. Both Peter Tangen, and Alex Stonehill, challenged and push me to gain a deeper understanding of why before how, and more importantly, to never compromise my integrity, even in the face of great odds.

These two fueled a need to learn how the world lives, gain a better understanding of what’s around us, and find innovative ways to use media to bring the stories to a larger, more diverse audience.

My personal time is typically guided by the search to find intellectual stimulation through creative mediums; weekends spent on creative projects, and vacations traveling through countries picked by a dart and a map.

Over time my need to connect with people around the globe has increased my understanding of the who and why, while my curiosity and drive to learn has increased my understanding of how to strategically create content others can connect with on a more meaningful level. I have used this methodology to create original, and collaborative solutions from their inception to beyond their final delivery for organizations like amc, national geographic, and the united nations.
